X is the only social media platform that allows you to build your brand or media company on multiple verticals: Through Spaces, compelling written content, or live streaming (Yes, Elon said, implementing live streams is a top priority!). Each of these verticals can be a 7-figure business independently.

When BCheque and I started our Modern Market Spaces, we began with just a few listeners. After more than 55 daily Spaces, Modern Market consistently draws over 200 participants.

Key actions that led to this growth:

Consistency is Gold: If you want to build an audience and make it a habit for them to tune in, you must go daily. Daily sessions might seem daunting, but they've been vital to solidifying our place in our audience's routine.

Framework Matters: Each session of the Modern Market has a structured flow, giving listeners both familiarity and value every time. A good structure also decreases the risk that someone “hijacks” your show. Don’t underestimate hosting a live show.

Celebrate Your Community: Using SuperSpaces, we've deepened our connection, recognizing and valuing our most engaged members, whether our most frequent speakers, our most passionate listeners, or the people most active in comments.

II. Unpacking Ad Revenue in Web3: The "X" Approach

A couple of days ago, I started sharing my Twitter Stats. You can find them at https://twitter.com/i/account_analytics.

We know monetization unlocks if you meet all three criteria: 500 followers, Twitter Blue, and 15M impressions over the last three months.

On average, I get 3M impressions per month from my content. However, I wanted to fast-track unlocking my ad revenue share. Hence, I am currently focusing on replying to big accounts like meme sites on top of my regular content.

Exclusively grinding replies won’t be lucrative, as your ad share depends on Twitter Blue users viewing your content. We are lucky to be in web3, as the number of Blue subscribers is multiples higher in web3 than across the general X user base. The key to long-term success is still your original content!

I am currently on track to unlock monetizing options over the next 4-5 days, and after that, I plan to scale down on the “viral replies.” Hopefully, I can share more numbers in the next issue of my newsletter.

This week I want to highlight my good friend Zaimiri. His thread on Elon Musk went viral reaching more than 10M impressions.

After Zai went viral, his profile got more than 30k visits. Because his bio, header image, and pinned tweet are highly optimized and synergistic, he converted those visits into 1.5k followers.
